1. Download the Backup appup and synchronization
Although the Google Back-up and sync app is expected to appear on your computer by the end of June, you can download the app here. If Google Drive is already installed on your PC, the new backup tool will simply replace it.

2. Select Folders for backupup
After you log in, you will be given an option to choose the folders you want to restore up to the disk. As you can see, the default folders such as Desktop and Documents are selected by default.
However, if you only use a backupup To create a specific folder, select the Choose Folder option. So instead of syncing everything, just a backupup created from a specific mapup to your Google Drive. All you need to do is navigate to the specific path and select it. When you are done, it is time to move on to the pictures.
3. Check the photo settings
If you chose to go back up images and pictures, the Google Backupup and sync app gives you the option to choose how to backupup want to make-upIt gives you two options: high quality and original quality.

4. Set up the Google Drive settings
The Back-up and sync app also gives you the option to get the image of all google drive files and folders to your system. All you need to do is choose the folder location where these files will be stored.
Select the correct option – the whole Drive or a few specific folders and you’re done. All folders from your Google Drive will be synchronized in your system. Add any folders or files to this folder, and that too will be synced.
Preferences tab
Unlike some regular apps, the Google Backup and Sync app does not register in the Windows 10 taskbar. So if you want to make changes after the initial installation, you can find them in the shortcuts box. To access the settings, right-click the cloud icon, tap the three-dot menu in the right corner and select Preferences. Once inside, you can change photos, files and Drive settings.

Finally, you can also set up the tool to automatically upload files from USB devices and SD cards via the small option at the bottom. Essentially what this option means is that you can crochet up a USB stick to your computer and let Google do the rest.
