Netflix now streams to over 130 countries and as icing on the cake, I can now watch content online without any VPN service. 1. Unblock content across borders
When Netflix launched in India, I was terribly excited. But then, after I signed up for the trial period and viewed the content, I was very disappointed. So many titles were missing from the Indian catalog due to licensing issues. What they offered were peanuts compared to the US and Canada catalog. Then I came across this tool called Smartflix which can unblock the entire Netflix catalog for you. Imagine more than 14,000 movies and TV shows from all over the world! That’s what Smartflix offers without any additional payment, at least as long as the app is in beta.
The only limitation is that the app is limited to Windows and Mac and you only get HD and Full HD streaming, even if you paid for the UltraHD streaming plan. Note: After a recent statement from Netflix saying it will block users on VPN and proxies, there is no impact whatsoever on the Smartflix user. 2. Keyboard shortcuts make it easy for you
If you mainly use Netflix on your computer, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the keyboard shortcuts. Here are the keyboard shortcuts it supports on computer.

Cool Tip If you are using one of the wireless keyboard apps on your Android or iPhone, you can use it as a remote control while away from the computer.
3. Manage the subtitles
I’m not sure about you, but there are people like me who just can’t watch a movie or TV show without subtitles and we’re very picky about that. In desktop players like VLC and Daum PotPlayer, I always adjust the subtitle font, and similar settings are available in the Netflix account settings.
Under Subtitle display you can configure your subtitle settings. Make the text bold, change the font, and even choose how the shadow should be. If you have vision problems, you can also give a background to the subtitles and make the text bigger.
4. Clear your list to continue watching
Continuing to watch is a nice option feature in Netflix and helps you choose up from where you started. But even after you’ve watched a movie or an episode in its entirety, things keep stacking up up in this list.

5. Configure Netflix streaming quality
Under the account settings, you can click on Playback Settings from which you can control the playback quality. These settings can be useful if you have a limited subscription or a slow connection. The best thing is that you get a reasonable estimate of the amount of data usage in each of these settings.
If you choose to go with Auto, you can use a hidden menu via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S and control the streaming quality from there as well.
6. Play Netflix in Pop-Out Player
I sometimes prefer to watch my shows while writing an informal script or researching a few things online. Unfortunately, this is not possible directly from the Netflix settings. But you can arm the panel feature from Chrome Flags and then use the Picture in Picture extension to make the player stand out.
