How to search for text in a photo or image on your iPhone
First, make sure Live Text is enabled. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings and then General and then Language & Region. Turn switch to Dynamic Text if not already enabled You can now search for text on a sign or other physical object that you see through the camera. Aim your phone to include the text, then tap the indicator button in the lower right corner. Tap the text you want to search. You can then drag the selection to more or less incorporate what you selected. Touch the Look Up command on the toolbar to conduct the search. Tap any of the search results to see available information. To search for an existing image in your library, launch the Photos app and open a photo or other image with text. Press text to select it. Drag the selection to embed any additional text. Touch the Look Up command to see the results. Finally, you can search for text in an image on the web. Open Safari and navigate to a website that contains an image with text. Press the text and drag the selection if you want to change it. Then tap Look Up to find information about the selected text.
