The Logitech G Pro Wireless is a great mouse for MMO gaming, but with only eight buttons and two side buttons on each side, it is not designed with MMOs in mind. Nevertheless, it is comfortable to use, although those with small hands may struggle to grip it with their fingertips. Two side buttons on the left side and two optional slots on the right side give the device a two-handed design; it is nice to be able to fully equip four buttons at once. On the underside of the device are the power button, DPI shifter, and USB receiver slot. Overall, the Logitech G Pro Wireless feels excellent under the hand with its lightweight form factor, comfortable shape, and solid, durable build quality. Unfortunately, such quality does not quite translate to the plastic cable, which can be a drag when plugged in. However, I did appreciate the support on both sides of the mini-USB connection to prevent damage to the port while moving around. Setting up the microphone, however, is where the fun really begins. The Logitech G Pro X is Logitech’s first gaming headset and is compatible with Blue Vo!ce software, which allows you to change mic balance presets and options such as noise reduction, expander, limiter, compressor, de-esser, and high-pass filter to create your own personal settings. This is by far the biggest improvement in call quality I have seen in a gaming headset. The Logitech G Pro X provides fairly good isolation for a gaming headset. It does not feature active noise cancellation (ANC), so you can’t expect it to block out anything louder than the sound of a nearby refrigerator or the TV in another room. However, since this is a gaming headset, it will not need to block out anything more intense than typical sounds in the home. It is not a headset for outdoor use, but it shouldn’t be either. The velour padding will also be a bit inferior in this regard.
