The most striking aspect of the Logitech G335 is its appearance. It retains the trapezoidal ear cups, as well as the rest of the form factor, of the Logitech G733. This aesthetic fits in perfectly with the new Logitech G devices, while standing out from other more typical looking headsets. The G335 is available in three colors: black, white and mint. In addition, they come with a different colored headband to stand out even more. The black version has a purple and blue headband, the white version has a blue and orange headband, and the mint version has a gray and yellow headband. If that’s not enough, you can also purchase additional reversible straps separately from Logitech – there are 8 options in all. The G335 is more than just a pretty headset. It’s incredibly light, weighing in at just 240 grams, so it won’t get tired from hours of use. And while it’s almost entirely plastic construction, outside of the earcups and strap, it’s sturdy enough that you’d have to go out of your way to break it. The headband can even be stretched and twisted without any negative effects other than a possible reduction in clamping force. Speaking of which, the tightness of this helmet is just enough to ensure a good fit, so it doesn’t slip off when you move your head. At the same time, it’s not too tight for comfort, which I’ve found with other helmets. Because it uses a suspension headband instead of padding built into the headband, it doesn’t put pressure on your head or overheat it. The ear cups, which use a breathable memory material and are covered in a sporty mesh fabric, only contribute to this incredibly comfortable experience. Because the Logitech G335 connects only via a 3.5mm connection, the audio quality is not as crisp as headsets that use a wireless receiver or digital connection. The headphones sound softer throughout the frequency range. The highs are slightly dampened, so you lose some detail whether you’re listening to music or playing a game. The mids are the best; they’re full and rich, which not only makes the headphones sound warmer, but also makes dialogue easier to hear. Bass is also very present, although it loses some punch.
